HAND STAMPED BATIK SARONGS
Batiking is an ancient process, originating in Indonesia, where artists color and create designs on fabric through wax-resist dyeing. The artists apply hot wax to certain parts of a cloth with metal stamps, soak it in various dye baths, then peel off or boil away the wax to reveal where the fabric has “resisted” the dyes.
